I will be traveling to Portland Oregon in May of 2009 and would like to rent a cabin for a week. Ideally I would love to find a location not far from the city so that I can enjoy the outdoors during the day and the music scene at night. This is my first trip to the area and I am looking to make the most of it. Any tips would be helpful!

You are probably reading this because you have someone in mind that you want to show your love to, and you have decided that a great way to do that is to take them to a Gatlinburg cabin. These cabins are great ways to romance your lover and enjoy the beauty of the Smoky Mountains.
It could be your honeymoon. Or it could be an anniversary that you especially want to remember. You might even just want to have a special weekend with the person that warms your heart. The best thing is that it doesn’t matter, a Gatlinburg cabin rental will help you meet your need.
Cabins provide all the benefits of a regular hotel and significantly more. They have all the regular things like beds, bathrooms, refrigerators, pillows, ad nauseum. But can a hotel give you privacy at during every aspect of your stay there? It can’t, but a cabin can. The privacy can be complete, if you choose the right type of cabin.
Personal paved roads will lead you to your cabin destination. Nature will surround you, completely cutting you off from the outside world if you so choose. This is exactly what you are looking for in your romantic getaway.
Another benefit is that these cabins can even have a jacuzzi. You don’t want other people in the jacuzzi with you on your romantic vacation. You want that time to be private between you and your significant other without the prying eyes of other guests infringing on your privacy.
The other thing that you will get with a Gatlinburg rental is some of the conveniences of home. This can include such things as a washer and dryer, an oven, microwave, dishwasher, and even kitchen utensils. These can really help keep expenses down, but can also open up some romantic possibilities if the way to your loved ones heart goes through the stomach.
If staying in your cabin will make you feel all couped up, then you might consider heading out of your cabin to one of the towns near by. This could be Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge. Both of these towns have plenty to do, but may appeal to different tastes.
Gatlinburg is quieter and quainter. Pigeon Forge is more spectacular and appeals to the carnival in everyone. If you want to have a nice quiet time then Gatlinburg is for you. If you want to race go carts or visit crazy attractions then Pigeon Forge is your choice.
You simply can’t go wrong with a Gatlinburg cabin rental. It will definitely meet your romantic needs. It can even help out your wallet too if you are able to find the right deal.

Vacation Condos, a Great Investment

One of the aspects that makes a vacation condo rental so popular is the relatively low level of upkeep that is necessary. Cleaners can be easily contracted to keep the interior of the unit in pristine condition and the owner fees see to the condition and maintenance of the exterior of the building as with any condo complex. However, investing in a vacation rental condo requires some real legwork and investigation into the area you are investing in and the building that you have chosen. One major concern is the fact that many condo developments have rules against rentals. So you must be sure to find a building where this is not the case. Also, you will need the assurance that you can easily get information about the state of your investment from wherever you reside. This can be easily done by communication with the condo association for the building or by a property management service.
As with any investment make sure that you take certain measures to protect your interests. This will include proper contracts for people staying in your condo, user agreements so to speak. Also make sure that you have the correct insurance for vacation rentals. The final step is to find a place where you can properly advertise your rental, websites are a great solution for this. If you do your homework and plan properly, a vacation rental condo can be a fantastic investment.

How can I sell my credit for my vacation condo in Cancun?

I have a rental credit with an owner in Cancun for a beach side two bedroom condo.
After talking with them, they have agreed to give me a credit and gave me permission to sell it so I can get my money back. I was going to list it on the site I originally got it from (cyberrentals, homeaway.com) but it costs 80 bucks for 3 months.
Does anybody know of any good sites that I can post this information on so I can sell this in time for some Christmas money for the family.
